~ My Review ~

This very fast paced read is full of rich descriptions of locations that they travel to, light suspenseful intrigue and hot love scenes.

I love the versatility of this author. She continues to amaze me with her wide variety of book series. This book really caught my attention since I sew costumes for several circuses and work with many outstanding costume designers.

So the part where she discusses Ruby going about her day as a seamstress is believable and fairly accurate. Ruby’s character draws you into the story as she determinedly seeks to change her life. The author shows her vulnerability as she steps into the life she wants to create without being needy or hopeless.

Many of us can relate to having a friend like the secondary character, Lilli, who is bigger than life and helps us break through our self-inflicted walls of self-doubt and fears.

Our main sexy man is Blake and there was a part of me that had a hard time connecting to him. I like the mysterious Blake in the beginning but I quickly got upset with him shortly into the story because of some of his reckless decisions. But at last in the end I was happy because he redeemed himself in my eyes.
